Alina Herzau M.A. lives and works as an interdisciplinary designer and mixed-media artist in Leipzig, Germany. Her degree in fashion design influences her artistic practice, which is characterized by the combination of analog and digital elements. By combining pixels, paper and textiles, she explores the interaction between surface, body and space. She also teaches as a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Arts Schneeberg in the Artistic and Design Fundamentals department and leads the fashion and surface design class at the Jugendkunstschule of the Volkshochschule in Chemnitz.
